I am new to racing, where do I begin?
To begin with, do not stress out about being new to racing. Everyone was new to racing at some point in their lives. The best place to begin is to talk with an authorized Legends Car dealer to get a better understanding of what is required to go Legends racing and schedule a test drive. Should I Buy New or Used?
If you are just getting started, we have new and quality used cars to fit most budgets. Purchase prices begin around $$8,500 for a quality used car, and $12,995 for new cars. Although used cars can sometimes be found for as low as $6,000, please be aware that these cars will need work. If you cannot afford or simply do not want to purchase a car but still want to go racing, we have very reasonable leasing and rental programs available.
Think that new cars are faster?
That is not necessarily true. New cars are simply new. The performance level of these cars, new and used, is so equal that the driver, setup and crew are what makes one particular car faster than the other. In addition to being just as fast as new cars, most quality used cars also include many extras such as external oil filters, oil coolers and gauges. These items are also available on new cars but at an additional cost.
So how do I get started in Legends racing?
That is simple, give us a call. We will gladly speak with you to determine what, if any, racing experience you have. If you have never raced before, we can get your started with one of our private or group Driving Classes. This provides a safe and effective environment for your introduction into racing.
Once you determine that you want to go racing, we will work with you to purchase a new or used car or discuss viable options for leasing and car rentals. We will also help you understand what other items are needed such as a fire resistant suit, shoes, gloves, helmet and neck restraint system. There are also licensing and track entry fees associated with racing at any level. As an authorized Legends Car dealer, we will help guide you through that process as well.
